In the wake of hurricane Isabel, I was forced to close the building on Thursday evening and all day Friday. On Sunday evening, CleanOffice, Inc. staffed a full crew for a complete cleaning. When tenants and visitors arrived Monday morning, all areas of the building were clean and ready for business. Dear Greg:
Just wanted to pass along a "happy ending" story. Friday night, at dinner with some friends, I realized my sapphire engagement ring was not on my finger. Panic! I vaguely remembered taking it off to wash my hands at work in the Ft. Evans Branch of the Middleburg Bank but didn't remember putting it back on.

As soon at the branch opened on Saturday I ran in looking for it. It wasn’t on top of the towel holder where I'd left it. We called CleanOffice, Inc. and Lincoln Properties and left messages that I'd lost my ring. Several hours later I got a call at home from the branch assistant manager saying they'd found it on the teller desk in an envelope. I was so relieved.

At that point we didn't know which of your employees was responsible for the safe return of my ring. I've since learned his name is Mirza Balic. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can't begin to tell you how pleased (and yes surprised) that someone would turn it in. We've all gotten so used to expecting the worst. It's so refreshing to be reminded that there are indeed good honest people out there. He certainly deserves to have his efforts recognized and rewarded.
